Dr. Hulen completed her internship and diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, followed by subspecialty fellowship training at Henry Ford Hospital in musculoskeletal radiology with special focus on MRI, ultrasound and image-guided procedures.

She was then appointed senior staff radiologist at Henry Ford Hospital as program director of the Musculoskeletal Radiology fellowship, serving on multiple medical education and hospital committees before joining RMI.
