Darius R. Gilvydis, MD

Dr. Gilvydis directs RMI’s mammography program. Before joining RMI, he spent 12 years as medical director of breast imaging and body imaging specialist at Naperville Radiologists, S.C. in Illinois.

He brings both an engineering mindset — his first degree was in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan — and a deep commitment to earlier breast cancer detection. His focus within women’s imaging is advancing technology to find breast cancer sooner and improve patients’ lives.

Dr. Gilvydis chose RMI because it combines university-grade subspecialists with accessible, community-based outpatient care.
